Onyxia is back with a scaled-up encounter for 10- and 25-man raids.  Ahrotahntee will be tackling her in a 25-man raid each Tuesday night at 6:30 PM.  As well, Naxx 10 and 25 are off the schedule and in their place we are doing ToC 10 and 25.  10-man Onyxia will be used as a stand-by raid for nights we usually do a 25-man and are short players.  Read up on the new encounter; there are a few changes and remember, if you mess up it’s -50DKP!

Get your Naxx 25 and Ulduar 10 gear and badges while you can!  On Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 6:30 PM server time, Ahrotahntee is heading into Ulduar 25 for an Ahro-run raid!  If you have not done Ulduar 10 nor seen these bosses before, be sure to gear up, enchant up, gem up, pot up, and read up on the first 4 bosses:

* Flame Leviathon
* Razorscale
* Ignis
* XT-202

We’ll put Ulduar 25 on the raid calendar for Tuesdays and Thursdays to start, scaling back to a 10-man run on the nights we’re short-manned.  See you there!

Last week Ahro began to do Ulduar 10 guild runs.  In the coming weeks, depending on attendance online and balance at raid times, we’ll either run a Naxx 25 or an Ulduar 10 to gear for Ulduar 25.  The goal will be to step into Ulduar 25 in a guild run by August 1, 2009.  Please start to plan your raid week accordingly; do heroics, buy the “good” gems, get your enchants, belt buckles and flasks in order.  We can easily take on Ulduar 25 if we work together to gear each other up and Ulduar 10 is the next step.  Starting this week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays we’ll be running Ulduar 10 whenever we don’t have enough to do our usual Naxx 25 run.  See you in Ulduar!

Starting this week we’ll be adjusting how we distribute loot to make sure that the system is fair and balanced for all Ahros of all skill and gear levels.  Currently we have a system that has brought us from the start of Burning Crusade until the start of 3.1 and Ulduar’s appearance.  Lately, however, we’ve realized that some loot is a lot tougher to get than other loot and we need to make sure the guild is progressing in a way that helps us all.  In the upcoming days you’ll see more details about these changes to the loot guidelines on our forums.  Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Congratulations Ahrotahntee, and terrific work and dedication this week in Naxx 25.  We’ve cleared the final 3 bosses that we needed in one week!  Sapphiron went down on the FIRST ATTEMPT!  Fantastic job to all who came out on each of the 4 nights.  We’re going to keep Naxx 25 as a focus of our Raid Schedule and gear us all up for Eye of Eternity 25 and on to Ulduar!  Keep up the great work!  PS.
